Muslims from across Liberia gathered at the Executive Mansion for a special prayer program following the annual pilgrimage (Hajj) to the Holy City of Makkah. This event, held under the auspices of the Office of the President, is part of an annual tradition where the Muslim community comes together to offer prayers for the nation and its leadership.
The prayer program, organized in collaboration with the National Muslim Council of Liberia, brought together returning pilgrims and members of the Muslim community to thank Allah for a successful pilgrimage and to seek continued peace, stability, and prosperity for Liberia.
His Excellency President Joseph N. Boakai was in attendance, accompanied by several senior government officials, including Mr. Mohammed Dukuly, Managing Director of the National Port Authority; Hon. Mamaka Bility, Minister Without Portfolio; and Hon. Grisbay, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, among others.
The gathering was a symbol of national unity and spiritual reflection, underscoring the strong relationship between the Liberian government and the Muslim community.
