The National Muslim Council of Liberia organized a comprehensive Hajj 2024 Workshop at its headquarters, bringing together the majority of the 235 registered Hojjaj (pilgrims) preparing to embark on the sacred journey to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The workshop focused on equipping participants with essential knowledge and practical guidance surrounding the Hajj pilgrimage. Key topics included the religious rites of Hajj, travel protocols, health and safety tips, and general conduct while in the Holy Land. Given that many of the participants have limited or no international travel experience, the training proved especially valuable.
Facilitators of the workshop were drawn from the Mufti Bureau—seasoned Islamic scholars with in-depth expertise on Hajj. Their leadership and insight ensured that the participants were spiritually and practically prepared for this life-changing journey.
The Council emphasized the importance of such preparatory sessions as part of its commitment to ensuring a well-coordinated, informed, and spiritually enriching Hajj experience for all Liberian pilgrims.
