On June 10, 2024, the Liberian Hojjaj (pilgrims) arrived safely in the Holy City of Madinah and made their first stop at the historic Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi). The moment was filled with reverence, gratitude, and deep spiritual emotion as pilgrims offered prayers and paid their respects at one of Islam’s holiest sites.
This marks a significant beginning of their sacred journey, as they prepare both spiritually and physically for the rites of Hajj. The National Muslim Council of Liberia extends thanks to the Saudi authorities for their warm reception and coordination in ensuring the safe arrival and accommodation of the Liberian delegation.
The pilgrims continue to pray for peace, unity, and prosperity for Liberia as they move through this blessed experience.
