News & Events

On June 16, 2024, the Liberian Hojjaj continued their sacred journey in high spirits, moving from Muzdalifah to Mina and onward to Jamarat, where they performed the symbolic ritual of Ramy al-Jamarat (the stoning of the devil). The pilgrims were in a jubilant and spiritually uplifted mood, grateful for the strength and guidance to fulfill these significant rites of Hajj.

This stage of the pilgrimage marks one of the most symbolic and meaningful aspects of the journey, representing the rejection of evil and the reaffirmation of faith. The pilgrims’ unity, devotion, and resilience during these rituals reflected the deep spiritual purpose that drives the Hajj experience.

The National Muslim Council of Liberia remains proud of the discipline and commitment shown by the Liberian delegation and continues to pray for their safe completion of the pilgrimage and return home.
