Mina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Through the guidance and coordination of the National Muslim Council of Liberia (NMCL), today marked the successful slaughtering of the first batch of 320 sheep as the official sacrifice (Qurbani) on behalf of Liberian Pilgrims in Mina, as part of the rites of Hajj 2025 (1446 AH).

This important religious obligation was carried out in accordance with Islamic principles, symbolizing the pilgrims’ obedience to Allah and commemorating the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

The NMCL continues to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and spiritually fulfilling participation of Liberian pilgrims in this year’s Hajj 2024 and expresses gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their continued hospitality and support.

Further updates will be provided as the Hajj progresses.
