A central point on the agenda was the urgent need to fill and fully operationalize the Council’s standing committees. Members emphasized the importance of these committees in driving the Council’s mandate and ensuring effective implementation of its programs. The Vice Chair for Women’s Affairs advice the women to help in uniting the women of various organizations.
The meeting opened with prayers offered by Imaam Salleh A. Kanneh, Head of the Body of Imaams setting a solemn and focused tone for the deliberations.
