NMCL Participates in Egypt Independence Day Celebration
The National Muslim Council of Liberia (NMCL) received two official invitations from the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt near Monrovia to participate in the celebration marking the National Day (Independence Day) of the Arab Republic of Egypt on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Representing the National Muslim Council of Liberia at the ceremony were Alhaji A. F. Kuku Reeves, Secretary General, and Alhaji Momolu S. Vannie, Deputy Secretary General.
The celebration was held at the Mamba Point Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia, and brought together members of the diplomatic community, government officials, religious leaders, and other distinguished guests to commemorate Egypt’s historic occasion.
The participation of the National Muslim Council of Liberia reflects the strong and cordial relationship between Liberia and the Arab Republic of Egypt, particularly in the areas of religious cooperation, education, culture, and people-to-people relations.
The NMCL extends its congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt on this important national occasion.
