Inter-Religious Council of Liberia Meets with U.S. Chargé d'Affaires
The Inter-Religious Council of Liberia (IRCL) held a high-level meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Liberia, Mr. Joseph E. Zadrozny, to discuss issues of national and regional importance.
The discussions focused on the border security challenges facing Liberia, the growing proliferation of narcotic drugs, strengthening the role of the Inter-Religious Council within the Mano River Basin, and the country's economic development and stability.
During the meeting, the IRCL delegation emphasized the critical role that faith-based institutions continue to play in promoting peace, social cohesion, good governance, and regional cooperation.
The Council also highlighted the need for stronger partnerships in addressing cross-border security threats and the increasing impact of illicit drugs on Liberia's youth and communities.
