On April 6, 2024, His Excellency President Joseph N. Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, hosted a Ramadan Breaking Fast Dinner (Iftar) with the Muslim community at the E.J.S. Memorial Complex in Monrovia. The annual event, organized in collaboration with the National Muslim Council of Liberia, brought together Muslims from across the country in a spirit of unity and reflection.
In his remarks, President Boakai expressed deep gratitude to the Muslim community for their continued prayers and support for peace, stability, and development in Liberia. He acknowledged the importance of Ramadan as a sacred time of devotion, sacrifice, and community, and reiterated his administration’s commitment to religious inclusion and national unity.
The Iftar Dinner served as a meaningful platform for the President to interact with Muslim leaders and faithful, strengthening ties between the Government and the Islamic community. It remains one of the key engagements through which the President honors and appreciates the contributions of Muslims to national life
