On June 22, 2024, the Hajj Mission of Liberia, Hon. Sekou K. Sheriff, led by the Chairman of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, and head of the Hajj Agencies, Hon. Losinee F. Kamara, Sr. was honored with a special gift from the Ministry of Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This prestigious recognition was presented in appreciation of Liberia’s successful organization and conduct of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage.
Each year, the Ministry of Hajj acknowledges countries that demonstrate excellence in coordinating and facilitating the pilgrimage for their citizens. Liberia’s receipt of this gift underscores the effectiveness, discipline, and cooperation displayed by its Hajj Mission and pilgrims during the sacred journey.
