On November 6, 2024, Liberia witnessed a historic moment as Muslims from across the country gathered in great numbers at the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County to warmly welcome world-renowned Islamic scholars—Sheikh Mufti Menk, Sheikh Wael Ibrahim, and Sheikh Mohammed Salah.
The atmosphere was jubilant and spiritually uplifting, as scores of Muslims, young and old, made their way to the airport to receive the distinguished guests. The crowd, filled with joy and anticipation, waved banners and offered prayers of welcome as the respected scholars arrived in Liberia.
