Liberian pilgrims joined the global Hajj of Tarwiyah in Mina on June 4, 2025. Under the coordination of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, 544 Liberian Muslims had departed Monrovia in May 28 and 30, 2025 aboard Ethiopian Airlines flights and arrived in Mecca for the pilgrimage. With requisite visas and logistics handled in conjunction with Liberia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Service, the group reached Mecca and proceeded to Mina to spend the first day of core Hajj rites.
For the Liberian contingent, this means spending Day 1 in Mina.
