National Executive Council of National Muslim Council of Liberia unanimously endorse and voted for the resolution calling for the holding of its 2023 National Assembly.
The National Executive Council of the National Muslim Council of Liberia on Saturday, March 9, 2023 unanimously voted to adopt the proposed time table for conduct of the National Assembly 2023 and the holding of the elections for a new corp of officers for the Council.
The NEC’s decision is consistent with articles 9,10,11, and 12 of the Constitution adopted in May 2021.
According to the resolution, the Assembly will start on March 29, 2023 and end with the elections of officials on March 31, 2023.
Key among contested positions include the National Chairperson, National Secretary General, and the Treasure among others.
The 2023 National Assembly of Council will take place at its Headquarters on the OldRoad, Montserrado county.
